I Would Like More Information
To all past, present and future fans of ProCare Institute,
As many of you may already be aware, ProCare Institute, a college with a long and notable track record of training exceptional Health Care Aides in communities around the province, has unfortunately had to discontinue its operations.
Stenberg College is extremely pleased to announce that we are working closely with the incredibly dedicated teaching faculty from ProCare as well as the Private Career Training Institutions Agency and the BC Care Aide Registry to complete the education of all current ProCare students, and thereafter to continue delivering Care Aide education in the same communities going forward. Employers throughout the Thompson-Okanagan and the Kootenays continue to have a significant need for well-trained HCA graduates and Stenberg sees it as a privilege to serve this need through the provision of our very own fully accredited and highly regarded HCA program. We are genuinely excited about the opportunity to join forces with the amazing teachers who built ProCare’s reputation in the places you call home: from Vernon to Nelson, from Castlegar to Salmon Arm and everywhere in between.
Stenberg College has graduated thousands of healthcare and human services professionals over more than 25 years of proud history and has been delivering Health Care Aide since its very first years in existence. With a student body of over 675 students in programs delivered across Canada, Stenberg has a particular expertise in delivering exceptional, flexible education in communities of all sizes despite being based in the lower mainland. We look forward to bringing our experience and passion for teaching to you and your community in the very near future and we hope that you will help us to spread the good news that a rewarding career as a Care Aide — working in and serving your home community — is still very much an aspiration within reach.
